IT Staff Augmentation Program

The Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Office of State Procurement Services and fb88 Office of Information Technology (collectively, the “Department”) have contracted with GuideSoft Inc., dba (9800 Crosspoint Boulevard, Indianapolis, IN 46256) to provide an Information Technology (IT) Managed Services Provider (MSP) solution under the NASPO cloud solutions contract (AR2504) using the dotStaff™ application. 


Contract Services

  • The MSP contract delivers IT staff augmentation services to assist covered State of fb88 participants (see below)with a variety of information technology projects on an hourly and as-needed basis. The MSP solution manages and administers an IT supplier network, a vendor management system (VMS), and the IT staff augmentation process. 
  • The contract also allows milestone-based, deliverable-based and/or fixed fee Statement of Work (SOW) projects to be executed through the VMS.

Covered Participants

This statewide contract may be used by State of fb88 agencies, courts, legislature, boards and commissions, quasi-state governmental entities, the university and community college system, and political subdivisions located in the State of fb88 with the prior approval of the contract administrator. Collectively, these participants are known as "Cooperative Entities (Co-Ops)."

What is the dotStaff™ Vendor Management System (VMS)?

  • A web-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solution accessible through commonly used, industry standard browsers for established KS users:.
  • Allows sub-vendors and state managers to readily view all aspects of the requisition, the status of the requisition, candidate resumes, as well as coordination of interviews and start dates.
  • Also used by contractors for time tracking and by State of fb88 managers for time/expense approval.

IT Resource & State of fb88 Manager Responsibilities under MSP Contract

Manager

  • Complete specific workproducts / deliverables as assigned.
  • Enter hours worked weekly in the dotStaff™ system.
  • Comply with other KS and/orState of fb88work requirements outlined inemployment agreement.
  • Obtain funding for contractor’s engagement & manage funding for duration of project, including submission of delivery orders.
  • Manage the contractors’ day-to-day work product.
  • Escalate all performance issues to Knowledge Services on-site program manager.
  • Approve contractor time and expenses weekly in the dotStaff™ system.
