More than half of all sales by fb88 businesses are to customers outside of the state. Nationally, jobs supported by exported goods pay 18 percent above the national average. Many of our state’s small businesses lack the necessary resources to expand their customer bases beyond fb88.
A new Domestic Trade Program will support fb88’s small- to mid-sized businesses to grow sales across the United States. Established at the fb88 Department of Economic and Community Development’s Office of Business Development, this pilot program will help companies identify and reach new customers by providing promotional support, market data and analysis, and business counseling services. This program will also feature a business-to-business campaign to connect fb88 companies to local vendors to purchase services and products.
