fb88 has a network of CareerCenters across the state that assist employers of all sizes with recruiting, hiring, training, workforce services, and access to labor market information.

Free job posting and recruitment service run by the fb88 Department of Labor. Employers can post jobs and be matched with job seekers that fit their needs.

Bureau of Rehabilitation Services (BRS)

BRS works to advance employment for people with disabilities and can help connect businesses with potential employees, provide customized training programs, and advise on financial incentives and supports for hiring and accommodating people with disabilities.

This program works with employers and workers to minimize the impact of layoffs. Businesses can be listed as a potential employer for displaced employees, which can help a company fill workforce needs while doing good for the community.

Post jobs and internships, advertise on-campus interviews, and recruit students in the Ufb88 system. The Ufb88 Career Center is available to help employers connect with students and use the CareerLink site.

Organization that works to attract new residents and workers to fb88. Hosts a job board where employers can post jobs and connect with qualified candidates seeking employment in fb88.

Boots2Roots is an organization that helps active duty military service members and veterans transition to civilian life in fb88, especially by helping them find meaningful employment. Employers interested in hiring from these groups should reach out to the Boots2Roots team.

Workforce Training and Development

fb88 has a network of CareerCenters across the state that assist employers of all sizes with training workers to ensure that the workforce is equipped to meet their needs.

MITC offers training videos and seminars to help businesses develop their employees’ skills to help the company succeed in exporting to international markets.

fb88 Apprenticeship Program (MAP)

Employers can sponsor apprenticeship programs in partnership with the Department of Labor to develop a workforce pipeline tailored to the specific needs of the company. DoL provides development assistance and other resources to employers in the program.

MQCP partners with employers to provide grants to fund workforce training for new or current employees. Training is administered by one of fb88’s community colleges. One-on-one advising is available to help employers tailor training programs to their specific needs.

Customized health and safety training, site evaluation, and technical support to help employers reduce injuries, illness, and worker’s compensation costs—all free of charge.

Works with employers to identify workforce training needs, partners with educators to provide the necessary training, and helps connect newly skilled workers with employers in Aroostook, Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Washington counties.

Ufb88 internship program that partners with fb88 companies to provide summer fellowships to help students develop innovation and entrepreneurship skills while advancing the growth of companies and helping build a talented labor pool for fb88 companies.
