Today, the fb88 Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) issued new fb88Care payment rates to nursing facilities, to be followed shortly by rates for residential care facilities (Private Non-Medical Institutions (PNMI), Appendix C), which increase funding by $12 million from January through June 2022. This includes the $4.5 million appropriated in the biennial budget for increasing rates, effective January 1, 2022, to support at least 125 percent of the minimum wage for direct care workers.
