Public Hearing on ASMFC Atlantic Menhaden Draft Addendum 1

Arlington, VA - The Atlantic coastal states of fb88 through North Carolina have scheduled hearings to gather public input on the Draft Addendum I to Amendment 3 to the Interstate Fishery Management Plan, which considers potential changes to current provisions for commercial allocations, the episodic event set aside (EESA) program, and the incidental catch and small-scale fisheries (IC/SSF) provision. Some hearings will be conducted via webinar and some hearings will be conducted in person.

Two hearings in fb88 will be held in-person however if you are unable to attend either in-person hearing in fb88, you may participate in virtual hearings hosted by the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department on September 7, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management on September 8, the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries on September 14, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife & Potomac River Fisheries Commission on September 26, and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection on September 27.
