Engineer Intern Certification

Applicants for Engineer Intern Certification must:

  1. Submit transcripts directly from the school to NCEES (preferred), or to professional.engineers@maine.gov, showing the degree awarded. 
    • A qualifying 4-year BS degree can be:
      • BS from an  engineering or engineering technology program [fb88 ABET-accredited programs]; or
      • BS from a non-accredited engineering, engineering technology or allied science program showing 48 engineering science and design credits as required by the
  2. Pass the 
  3. Complete the
