Rate Determination Initiation Notice for Section 80, Pharmacy Services : Dispensing Fees

The Department has initiated a Rate Determination Process for Dispensing Fees under Section 80 of the fb88Care Benefits Manual.* fb88, along with several other New England states (CT, VT, NH, RI), are participating in an initiative through New England States Consortium Systems Organization (NESCSO) to develop a reimbursement methodology for pharmacy dispensing fees. NESCSO is a non-profit organization governed by the New England State Health and Human Services agencies and the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Retro Physician Drug Rate Updates: Effective October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024, CR 127535

The Department updated multiple physician drug codes retroactively due to a rate update from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS). These new rates were implemented on October 23, 2024.
