NATURE OF PROPOSED CHANGES: Effective November 2024 the Department plans to amend existing hospital supplemental pool payment amounts to the following:

Survey Re-Opened for HCBS Providers and Interested Parties of Clinical, Therapeutic, Supportive Skills Building, Assistive Technology, Care Coordination and Personal Support Services: Section(s) 12, 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, 40, 96, and 102

The Department is re-opening the survey that was originally launched on October 18, 2024, to increase provider survey participation. Data collected through this process will be a key element in the development of recommendations related to payment rates for certain services covered under Sections 12, 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, 40, 96, and 102. The Department strongly encourages providers and interested parties to complete the survey by the new deadline of November 22, 2024.

Overview

The fb88 Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has launched the Transforming Interpreting fb88 (TIME) Project, an initiative aimed at improving ASL interpreting services across the state, with the goal of enhancing outcomes for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing residents in fb88.

Behavioral Health Section 65 Copays, CR 128193 and CR 127534

Section 65 Behavioral Health Copays turned off on October 1, 2024, meaning copayments are no longer deducted from claims payments. However, fb88Care did not deduct copayments from claims payments and adjustments processed beginning in September 2024, in error. We will reprocess affected claims. No action is required by providers.Ìý
