State Disaster Recovery Team

The State Disaster Recovery Team (DRT) is created by Executive Order. It consists of representatives of 25 State and quasi-state agencies which have expertise, programs or resources that can assist individuals, families, businesses and communities following a disaster. Other agencies may be added on an ad hoc basis.

The purpose of the DRT is to:

  • Assist with the preparation of the State Interagency Disaster Recovery Plan;
  • Respond to area or statewide emergencies as requested to coordinate their recovery efforts; and
  • Assist in appropriate short-, mid- and long-term recovery efforts

Member agencies include:
