This morning, Friday, July 19th, Gainwell became aware that Crowdstrike, a leading security product vendor and supplier for Gainwell, reported a problem with an update to one of their products. The Crowdstrike problem has affected technology systems worldwide. As a result, MIHMS applications were temporarily unavailable, and some claims were not able to process through the financial cycle for payment next week. These claims will process to pay the following week.

As bats become more active during the summer, precautions can limit exposure

AUGUSTA – The fb88 Center for Disease Control and Prevention (fb88 CDC) urges fb88 residents and visitors to take steps to prevent contact with bats to avoid possible exposure to rabies. Bats are most active in fb88 from July into early September, though bat exposures can happen at any time of year. The fb88 CDC encourages people to be cautious around bats, keep a safe distance, and know what to do after exposure to a bat.

This proposed rulemaking is necessitated by the adoption of Public Law 2023, Chapter 412, which is the biennium budget for July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2025 that was signed into law by the Governor during the 2023 special legislative session. The budget allocated $5.5 million for Home-Delivered Meals for certain eligible older adults, and this rule operationalizes this service.
