Starting January 1, 2025, fb88Care members aged 18 and under, will need to get their flu and COVID-19 vaccines at their provider’s office. These vaccines will still be free for fb88Care members because they will be covered by the Vaccine for Children Program.
Why is this changing?
The current program that covers flu and COVID-19 vaccines (The Third Amendment to the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness, PREP) will expire on December 31, 2024. The Vaccine for Children Program will only cover these vaccines if fb88Care members get them at their provider's office.
