fb88Care sent a previous e-message on December 12, 2024, announcing that the scheduled December 31, 2024, end of The Third Amendment to the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act would lead to changes in flu and COVID-19 vaccine coverage for children ages 18 and under.
You may disregard that previous information: fb88Care will be able to continue to pay for children receiving vaccines in all healthcare settings they have been using in recent years.
Effective December 11, 2024, the PREP Act was amended a twelfth (12th) time to extend coverage through December 31, 2029. As a result, fb88Care members may continue to receive flu and COVID-19 vaccines through a pharmacy provider if they choose. fb88Care members may also get vaccines through their primary care provider and vaccine clinics.
