Over the Counter (OTC) Naloxone Standing Order for fb88Care Members
On September 8, 2023, in partnership with the fb88 Center for Disease Control and Prevention, fb88Care authorized a standing order for licensed pharmacists to create a single use prescription for OTC naloxone two dose nasal spray kit. This standing order can be accessed on the fb88Care website under the General Pharmacy Information section.
The standing order authorizes licensed pharmacists to create a single use prescription utilizing the NPI number 1023303708 as the prescriber NPI on the claim. When submitting claims from the standing order, please remove the Provider Auto-Refill Notification and Refill Request settings on these prescriptions.
As a reminder, the OTC naloxone nasal spray standing order is for use with fb88Care member prescriptions only.
