Interconnected VoIP Registration for fb88
Pursuant to the Federal Communications Commission’s , in order for Interconnected Voice over Internet Protocol (I-VoIP) providers to obtain numbering resources from the North American Numbering Plan Administrator and Pooling Administrator, I-VoIP companies must provide at least 30-days’ notice of their intent to request numbering resources through the North American Numbering Pool with states.
On June 8, 2023, Governor Janet Mills signed into law . Effective October 25, 2023, requires I-VoiP service providers to register with the Commission using our Case Management System (CMS) to inform the Commission of an I-VoIP's contact information, and for all requests for initial and growth blocks for one or more rate centers.
The Commission does not regulate I-VoIP providers or approve block requests, but does require that I-VoIP providers utilize CMS to meet their notification requirements.
